Lady Liberty

Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  VACATION  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

It has been wonderful having Wanda with us this month! Her projects have been so inspiring, and I am looking forward to more!

This week the challenge is: RED, WHITE AND BLUE

LADY LIBERTY

I often get to see Lady Liberty on my trips to New York City for my eye appointments. S
he is one inspiring lady!

I began by making a template out of cardboard, then sketching out my stars.

I colored them with Tombow markers and a water brush, so I would have red, white and blue stars.

I stamped the stars, and on some did a half and half stamping...I like how they turned out. Then, I fussy cut them.

I stenciled Lady Liberty, and added a Simon stencil to the bottom for my background.

I figured out the star place, then Weed people July 4
