Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the XStitch It Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is:
MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND
I LOVE creating my own backgrounds! There is so much play involved, and it's very relaxing for me. I work on a layer, lt it dry and come back later for another layer. Why not try this yourself? These will make a wonderful addition for your stash.
BUTTERFLY BIRTHDAY
I began with acrylic paints, smudging them across my book pages with cosmetic sponges. You can also use a brush or even your fingers.
So, what should I make? I decided on a birthday card, since I need one for a special person. I cut a piece of my background paper and put it on black cardstock. I made that piece a bit too long, and since it was stuck, I cut a thin strip of black to cover that end.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $25 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp StoreSupplies:
