Stitch It

Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Fun with paint  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is: STITCH IT

Going down memory lane with my ocean themed tag...

I began with some ink smooshing on my tag with Citrine and Ground Espresso inks.

Next, I stamped over the tag with Simon's Pepita background and Ocean ink. This stamp is quickly becoming a favorite!

I punched holes in the bottom of my tag and stitched string along the bottom. Then, I tied string onto my stitches. I also added some black and white washi tape.

I inserted a tiny photo from my spring cruise into the lifesaver that I had fussy cut.

I popped up a few shells...

...and I dug in my stash and four this Memory Lane signpost and a rusty star to add.

Summer is the perfect time to stroll down memory lane. A stroll on the beach looking for ocean treasures would be even better! Hope you are enjoying your summer!  Create, add some stitching, and join the fun this week.
