Handmade Ornaments -Part 2....Inspired by Tim's 12 Tags Challenge

I love working with distress and Tim Holtz's products and creative ideas, so how perfect was this! Simon Says Stamp challenge this week is to create something inspired by Tim's 12 tags, and I have been admiring all the ideas with the blueprint stamps and I found they are awesome for making ornaments!
Step one - make a LOT of distressed ribbons using the Tim Holtz Distress Stains...stockpile for projects....stain hands with all these colors the night before parent conferences. (Um, did it all come off my hands...oh no!)

Step two - use my Balzer template and Dylusions mist on blank drink coasters, then when dry, go over them with Distress Stains. I also cut patterned paper for the backs.

Step three- use my new Tim Holtz blueprint stamps and add white snowflakes.

Step four- stamp a blueprint design on each, color in parts with my Distress Markers, and add some lime green liquid pearls.

Step five - add crystal effects, glitter, punch holes, add ribbons...

Snowman

Nutcracker

Snowflake

Christmas Tree

I had a lot of fun making these and I am one step closer to being ready for the holidays!
