All Things Pink!

Hello Monday and welcome back friends! I hope you've enjoyed an excellent week, and maybe found a bit of crafting time or even joined our challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we are focusing on breast cancer awareness with our theme, ALL THINGS PINK.
A  source of information is Breast, and I encourage all women to get your mammograms and do your self exams.

I created this in honor of my Mom who battled breast cancer several times, fought back and won. She passed away at 87, nine years ago, and I still miss her dearly. I honor what she and many women have gone through with this.
Many blessings and hugs to any of you facing this right now, may my little canvas brighten your day!

Robot pieces are die cut, images stamped and colored in pinks with Tombow markers and a water brush, so it's time to put it all together.

I think I pulled out just about every pink medium I could find. I painted a bit of the Taro Milk Tea onto the burlap panel and let it dry. Then, I pieced and glued the robot together, painted her with all my pinks, sprinkled on some Magenta Infusions, then glued it onto the panel. Next, I popped on the dragon (I love this dragon from Tim Holtz STAMPtember 2019, SO cute!)

I added details with a pair of glasses and old buttons and thread I found in my stash. All I had to do to turn the thread pink was to run my dyed fingers over it.

I have the robot holding the potion (medicine) with a message of love. I added Glossy Accents to the eye on the bottle. (all seeing)

I found an old piece of jewelry that just begged to be added to this. I also added glossy accents to the dragon's eyes.

Mothers, sisters, daughters, friends support each other and share the love,
just like my robot and dragon.

Thanks so much for stopping by this week! I hope you will join our ALL THINGS PINK challenge. Our generous friends at Simon Says Stamp are offering a $50 voucher to one participant, drawn at random.
