This week the challenge is: WEDDING/ANNIVERSARY

Follow Your Heart 

I started the background with the grunge stamp and gray ink for a neutral layer. 

I stamped the flower and cut it out. 

I laid out the images for the bottom layer, and finally came up with a pleasing arrangement. 

Adding details like a rub on butterfly... 

Happy pups stamped on a tag... 

Follow your heart on a thin strip of watercolor paper... 

Put it all together, and voila! I think this will be perfect as a wedding or anniversary card for dog lovers.

Whatever the Weather

 

 Hello Monday, my friends! And welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  THINGS WITH WHEELS  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

It has been wonderful having Cassie with us again this month! I just love her wonderful creative spin on our themes. 

This week the challenge is: WHATEVER THE WEATHER

Rain or Shine, ducks think any weather is divine! 

Well, maybe not all the snow we keep getting!

 

 I began by die cutting these sweet rubber duckies in a rainbow assortment of color.

I wanted to create a water background with stencils. I stenciled onto a sheet of mixed media paper that I could tear into sections. 

Then, I placed them on the card to create my background. 

I tucked the ducks into the sections to make it look like they were swimming. Then, I hand lettered Rain or Shine across the bottom.  

 

 

 

 All that remains is to stamp or write a message inside. I think this card would be perfect for a new baby, a birthday for a Jeep owner. 

No matter the weather, just keep creating!!

It's that time of the year - December at Simon Says stamp! Time to pull out your dies and use them this month with us.

Gathering all the parts...stamped images, die cuts, card... 

I colored my snowman image with colored pencils. 

Then, I added shimmer paint to the snow and snowman's cap.

A few more details with the baker's twine and plaque, and I am happy with this.
